SAN DIEGO, CA – December 4, 2013 – After being open for only a few months, Parma Italian Restaurant, Hillcrest San Diego, CA is awarded with the prestigious “Q” seal from the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce West. The "Q (Quality) - Marchio Ospitalita' Italiana" is a seal of authenticity presented by the Italian Government in recognition as a truly authentic Italian restaurant.
This certification is conceived with the objective of protecting the history, culture, quality and authenticity of Italian cuisine around the world and is given very sparingly to restaurants that are recognized as “ambassadors” of authentic Italian food and culinary excellence. Restaurants have to pass an extensive series of rigorous tests to certify authentic Italian quality and “Parma” is one of only four restaurants to date in San Diego to be recognized with this international award.
Owned by husband and wife, Franca and Celso, and co-founder Leonardo Ciriminna and his wife Francesca Giuliani, “Parma” offers genuine Italian hospitality and aims to never compromise on authenticity and respect of traditional Italian food.
